Saffron Orange Biscuits
Fresh oranges in the winter time are a good and healthy boost. The mixture of the noble spice saffron and oranges, not only strengthens the immune system, but is also a pleasure for body and mind!
Preparation:
Roast hazelnuts without grease and leave to cool. Mix butter, powdered sugar and salt until smooth. Crush the saffron threads and dissolve it in the egg yolk and add to the mixture. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and hazelnuts until the dough is smooth. Cut out the dough with a buscuit mold and bake at approx. 175 ° C for about 9 minutes and allow to cool. Decorate as desired and store in biscuit jars.
