Chicken skewers in saffron marinade
Our recipe chicken skewers in fine fragrant, oriental marinade is the perfect grill recipe for the summer. The effort is low and the result very tasty and exotic. Due to the long marinating time, the aromas can unfold optimally and give the meat a wonderfully strong taste. You can also use fish for more variety.

Ingredients for 4 people:
1 kg chicken breast
2 onions
3 limes
0,5 g saffron threads
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
5 tbsp olive oil
wooden skewers
Preparation
Peel the onions and add them to the mixer together with the saffron threads. Add the juice of lime, salt and pepper to the mixer. Then add olive oil and mix well. Wash the meat well and cut into evenly thick slices. Fish fillet can also be used instead. Place the meat in the marinade for 12 hours (for fish, a shorter marinating time is sufficient).
Put the marinated meat on skewers and fry on the grill or in a pan until golden brown.
